How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on what you need! Per project work is estimated, scoped, and agreed upon at the outset. Ongoing, regular design work is charged at $95 (NZD+GST) per hour. I’m always happy to discuss budget constraints beforehand, and provide estimates for individual tasks.
Some indications of cost are:
- a logo design only starts from $475 (NZD+GST) (one single design, in one colour option).
- a small brand identity starts from $950 (NZD+GST) (comprising of one primary logo design, 2 alternate logo layouts, fonts & colours specified, and a simple brand guide sheet).
- a simple website designed and built on the Squarespace platform starts from $475 (NZD+GST) per page (does not include ongoing subscription costs, content creation, photography or stock image costs).
I’m transparent with costs and purchasing on-behalf (for example, stock images) - there won’t be any hidden surprises or unknown extra costs.
What services do you provide?
Concept of the Good is a full service design studio. I’m well-versed in all areas of graphic design and visual communications including logos, branding, websites, business stationery, corporate documents, annual reports, brochures, flyers, posters, signage, packaging and more.
Whatever you need, I can help with. Over the years I’ve designed all sorts of things, including retail point-of-sale displays, retail interior fitouts, trophies and awards, jewellery, tattoos and pretty much anything else you can think of.
I can also call upon my professional network to provide printing, copywriting, photography, signwriting, vehicle wrapping, and anything else you may require.
Do you do printing?
Yes. While I don’t personally own a press, I have a great relationship with a local printing company and can provide quotes for whatever you need.
Do you make websites?
Yes. I usually build on the Squarespace platform, though I’m also happy to work with Wordpress, Drupal, Wix, Shopify or other CMS if you prefer.
If you need a more complex solution, I can create the design and engage a trusted developer on your behalf, or work with your chosen developer.
What if I don’t like the design?
I want you to be happy with the final result. I pride myself on providing excellent design, solving problems, and doing everything I can to ensure my clients are 100% satisfied. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with my work and wish to cancel your contract, you agree to pay in full for all time spent to-date.
What software do you use?
I work on Mac OS, using Adobe’s Creative Cloud, the professional standard worldwide. I can create templates in Pages and Keynote (for use in Word and PowerPoint), but cannot work with or create Publisher files.
